The War-N-Wit, Inc. Series just sort of -- happened. Somehow or other, it took on a life of its own and morphed into several different versions/editions. But there's always a "First", and first came
Well, to my extreme surprise, readers seemed to love War-N-Wit, Inc. and its zany characters!
I freakin loved this book!!!

Talk about pure entertainment....The Witch (War-N-Wit, Inc.) by Gail Roughton was absolutely the best fun ever!! Paranormal, urban fantasy, romantic suspense...call it whatever...this book rocks!!! Ariel, unsuspecting witch by fate and paralegal by career is in for the surprise of a lifetime when she meets the Macon Man...Chad...warlock, P.I., bounty hunter and super sexy...reunited after lifetimes...this is the beginning of a what I believe will be one hell of a fun series...I highly recommend to all who love anything paranormal, romantic, and downright fun. Kudos to the Author!!!
Anxiously awaiting the next one!

Loved the book! Really enjoyed the style of writing the author used. Easily read the book in an afternoon. Had me laughing out loud at some parts. Love the banter between the characters. Really want to read the next stories in the series!
That was when my publisher pointed a finger at me (via cyber-space) and proclaimed: "Sequels! Must have sequels! Shoot for two!" Okaaaaaayyyyyyy....... So then came...
No disappointment here!

I purchased this book, literally, 5 minutes after finishing The Witch. I was not disappointed at all! I really enjoyed the way the back story of Ariel and her Magic Man unfolded. I also love the way Micah is brought in and the part he plays in the story. I am looking forward to more adventures, more history, Ariel learning more about her powers and I hope, more bounty hunting!!! Miss Roughton, please hurry and write more!!!
Under her spell

I waited a week on pins and needles for this book to come out after finishing The Witch, and it was well worth the wait! The chemistry between Ariel and Chad is amazing. These are characters you will most certainly fall in love with! Mrs. Roughton is a superb author who has created a world you will want to lost in with characters who blow your mind! I can't wait to read the next in the series!!
To say I was blown away is to greatly understate the situation. Only problem was, I was even more petrified of disappointing my fans during the writing of....
Daytona Bike Week. Biker's paradise. The perfect place for Chad and Ariel Garrett to take a few days off and relax with Chad's buddy Spike and Ariel's little sister Stacy. But nothing ever goes as planned with that magical duo. Trouble just stalks them like a black cat. Maybe because a black cat's stalking them. A missing agent riding with an outlaw biker gang, a call from Chad's past, and War-N-Wit, Inc.'s riding again! On Harleys!
But bless their hearts, they loved this one, too!

Love this series, love this author! Only complaint is that it is shorter than you would like because you just want to continue reading about the characters. Would recommend to people who enjoy reading about witches and magic with some butt-kicking thrown in with the romance. Hope you enjoy it too!
Scintiallatingly memorable--a fun read!

Gail Roughton is becoming one of my favorite authors. The Coven is the third in her War-N-Wit series--and I have loved all three, soon to read #4 and others of hers not in this series. The 4 main characters sizzle! Other characters are also well-drawn and...well, really colorful "characters" of one sort or another! All are so deliciously memorable! The action is gloriously written, with twists and turns, as we discover the abilities of Ariel and Chad, and others. And then, there is the cat...
Whew!!!!!! I breathed extreme sighs of relief and vowed the Wars were done!!!!! Three was a nice round number. I wasn't pushing my luck and trying for another, no siree bob, not me. Too much of anything isn't a good thing, right? So guess what? After my solemn vows of no more Wars, ever, certain of the characters decided to start talking. Not the characcters the readers expected, either. And they just would not shut up! So I gave in. And ended up at this limited liability corporation by the name of
Another wedding day dawns for the ever-growing Garrett-Forrester Coven as Spike and Stacy get ready to say "I do"! Don't expect wedding bells and white gowns, though. It's off to the Drive-Thru Tunnel of Love at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Vegas. Again. It's sort of a family tradition. But what's supposed to happen in Vegas just refuses to stay in Vegas. And you're not going to believe this side-trip!
Always listen to your characters. They know what they're talking about.
Out there, but a fun ride!

I loved this one as much as the others. It was a little way out there but in a good way. The writing is excellent and the storyline was awesome as usual. Spoiler alert!!! I always knew Micah was more than a cat! Read the book to find out WHAT he is, whew! I particularly loved the MOM! Keep it coming, Gail. When's the next one? Oh wait, I forgot you can't write as fast as I can read, lol.

Gail has an imagination that will definitely keep you guessing. This is one of the best series around. Each book in the series is its own adventure! Do yourself a favor and begin with book one, and dive in to her world of magic and mystery!
So there you have it folks! The life cycle of the War-N-Wit, Inc. Series.
